The Lütz family has been making wine since 1770 and is proud to maintain this tradition in the 7th generation. The Lütz Winery is located directly on the Mosel in the town of Pünderich. The characterful wines are shaped by their special origins, because the soil and microclimate are unique here.

The majority of the vines are on Devonian slate with a variety of farm formations, from black, blue and gray to reddish or greenish. The fine-leafed rock weathers easily and enriches the soil with its mineral components. The slate of the steep slope is the cradle for wines with classic elegance, breed and finesse, which makes the Mosel Riesling incomparable worldwide.
